Our Story
Rooted in the tide, raised on tradition
Three generations of watermen, one family, and a deep respect for the waters that feed the Lowcountry.

Since 1978
From our boat to your table
Marshside began the way most good things in the Lowcountry do — early mornings, muddy boots and a johnboat working the creeks off Lady's Island. Granddad Earl sold his catch off the tailgate. Today we still pull our oysters from those same waters, by hand, at low tide.
We buy directly from the family boats we've known for decades. That means the shrimp on your plate was swimming this morning, and the oysters were still in the mud at sunrise. No freezer trucks, no middlemen — just the honest taste of the marsh.
Whether you're pulling up a stool at the dockside bar or gathering friends around a steaming roast, you're part of a Lowcountry tradition that's older than any of us.
